Do I stay with the familiar?
Or do I take a step out into the unknown and start living like a grown up?
I was told months ago that I was going to be made full time. The budget was approved and the fiscal year started in July. I am still "part time" working full time hours with no benefits. I am still being given vague answers of when...
Now a good friend has a job opening at his workplace and he could get me a job there. It is a different environment, but it will be a full time position with good benefits.
Pros for staying:
- I love my co-workers (Seriously we hang out a lot when not at work!)
- The job is (relatively) low stress
- Lots of different kinds of duties with lots of creative outputs
- Evening hours
Pros for leaving:
- Benefits
- Full-time salary
- I might have reduced hours in a few months...
